Description

"Pull a rabbit out of the box" Bunny Peek-a-Boo is a 3D puzzle for young children with 4 big, sturdy wooden blocks. Is the rabbit looking through the round hole or through the star-shaped one? Is it standing on top of the yellow, the red or the blue block? The blocks can be combined in many different ways, more than you would imagine. With Bunny Peek-a-Boo children will discover the world of 3D spatial perception, an important skill in reading and mathematical reasoning. Children can solve the 60 challenges or just play with it as a wooden toy to explore concepts like above/below, inside/outside, visible/hidden, etc. Contents include: a red, yellow and blue block, a rabbit, cards with 60 challenges and a leaflet with game rules and solutions.

Customer Reviews

Bunny Peek-A-Boo: An Educator's ReviewI am a school-based speech therapist working with students in K-5th grade and I recently acquired this game for my therapy sessions. I hesitated for a long time to buy it because of the steep price, but now that I own it I cannot recommend it enough!Bunny Peek-a-Boo consists of three wooden blocks, a wooden bunny figure, and picture cards. The premise is simple: players have to arrange the blocks and bunny figure in such a way that it matches the picture on the card. There are 60 different challenges at four different difficulty levels (15 challenges for each level).I used this during my therapy sessions with students ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade (the 5th graders were students from our self-contained Special Day Class) - everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Even though this toy is recommended for ages 2+, some of my older SDC students already began to struggle at Level 2, which was great in terms of learning opportunities. This game is excellent for speech & language therapy, as it promotes problem-solving, flexible thinking, and can be used to work on positional concepts (e.g., "Where is the bunny?" - "The bunny is on top of the blue block").I absolutely LOVE this product and given it's sturdy quality I know we'll be using it for years to come! It is an amazing learning tool for special needs students and preschoolers! 5A great thinking game to challenge your baby or toddlerAn excellent game for ages 1-4. This SmartGame is comprised of 4 blocks and 30 cards (double sided so there are 60 challenges). The 60 challenges are divided into 4 categories of difficulty. Each of the cards gives an image and the child is to build the blocks in a way that matches the image. My 16 month old and almost 3 year old fight over this game. They love it. The 16 month old doesn't understand how to build the blocks according to the image on the cards but he loves manipulating the blocks together to see what he can design. My almost 3 year old enjoys reviewing the cards and building the blocks to match it. Currently he can match the blocks to the first 20 or 25 cards so I know he'll still find this enjoyable and challenging for another year or two as he continues to increase in difficulty of cards. If you want an educational game for your baby or toddler, this is a great pick. Great for a 1st birthday too as it would last at least another 3 years. 5Appeals to a wide age range. Our family loves this game! The quality of the materials is top notch and the appeal has a wide age range so it has a long shelf life. My 2yr old and 5 year old enjoy it and are challenged at their respective levels & also just free play with the pieces. 5The best of the best developmental games for toddlers everThe best educational game ever. My girl is 2years 4 months old. It took a while for her to understand the relation between the plain card and 3D toy composition. Now we work on basic level and she does her job very well. I began to notice her looking at the different objects from 3 D view. She moves them in her hands side to side, up and down. That happened after playing with the bunny peek a boo. It opens the 3D understanding in kids. Amazing! The quality of the figures is superior. Nice and smooth. The three primary colors are helpful to recognize them everywhere. The scale or size of the figures just what is perfect for little hands. The bunny is about 3.5" tall. What looks easy at first, becomes difficult while playing. The problems grow with the child and consist of four levels of difficulty. It's nothing easy for a little one and it's amazing to see her struggling , but still desiring to follow. 5Well made and super engaging! This is a wonderful puzzle toy. So nicely made and great quality! It's also simple, but really engaging with 60 different challenges with 4 levels of difficulty.. My 3 year old and 8 year old had a fun time playing with it today for the first time. The 3 year old completed most of the level 1 challenges and then they worked together to solve up to level 4. They had fun and little did they know they were working on problem solving and visual spatial skills. Plus it is good to teach and reinforce prepositions like in, under, next to, behind, etc. 5Fun and entertaining educational gameMy three year old son's OT recommended Bunny Peek a Boo and we are so happy we bought it. Bunny Peek a Boo consists of 3 wooden building blocks, a wooden rabbit, and 30 double sided challenge cards. Cards have 4 levels of difficulty: starter, junior, expert, and master. The game is challenging, entertaining, and holds my son's attention. His five year old sister also likes to play but this set is far to easy for a Kindergartner. I love playing along too and goofing or saying I need help and my son puts the pieces together to match the cards. 5May not work that great if you allow your child to play independently...I love the concept of this toy....it s exactly what I was looking for however perhaps I didn t introduce it correctly. My daughter loves this toy, but she plays with it on her own terms. It s not meant to be an open ended toy....which means that you will need to introduce it to your child, interact with them, and teach them how to play with it first. I tend to give my daughter toys and let her figure it out. I allow her to play independently about 90% of the time. Which is why this did not work as intended for my child...she will not allow me to instruct her :-P My daughter is 3yo. I am only writing this review to explain my experience with other parents that may have the same parenting style as me.... 4My daughter s favorite OT toy.My daughter has special needs and her OT s have used similar sets with her. What makes this one special in my opinion is that the bunny has a face. It s a personified figure rather than just an object with shape and color. This means the bunny provides a relatable figure. You can incorporate pronouns, left, right, looking at you or facing away, standing up, lying down, etc.And the cards start easy enough but this toy will grow with your kid. Even the challenging cards will make adults stop and scratch their heads. It s impressive what the designers have done with four simple pieces! Also, this is solid wood so kiddos who are behind in fine motor control will have greater success in placement than lightweight plastic pieces that easy lose balance. 5quiet play for preschoolerI bought this for my 3-year-old daughter just a month before her 4th birthday. She loves jigsaw puzzles and things like Imaginets, but this was her first game of this sort. It took her a few cards to get a feel for the idea and become more familiar with the objects, but after that she really took off with this game. She completed all of the cards in two sessions, but she continues to ask for it. I think I could have bought a more complicated set from this company (and I plan on it!), but this one has been a great starting point for my daughter. It really is a high quality game with wooden pieces that are a great size for preschoolers to handle. The cards progress in difficulty, and it's quite impressive how many challenges there are using only four pieces. Very clever and perfect for quiet play! 5Great game! There are four different difficulty levels in ...Great game! There are four different difficulty levels in this game and 15 challenges for each level.I bought this game for my daughter's 2 years old birthday present. She can solve the most problems in level 1, but level 2 is difficult for her.My daughter really like to play with it. 5
